Flooding

So while I was in it Utah it  rained all weekend long. It rained so hard it flooded the little river that is 4 blocks away from us. It was just shocking to drive down town on Monday morning and see the river walk flooded and everything around it also flooded. There is few roads closed from it and some shops closed that are located on the river walk. The little river is now at least 2 times bigger than it normally is. Don't worry we are high enough that we did not flood.

Jamie's Wedding

My sister got married on Saturday September 13th. The wedding was at a very nice park and the reception was at our Aunt Bonnie and George's  home. It was a very nice wedding and the reception was decorated very pretty. Congratulations Jamie and Eric!! I'm glad I was able to be there.

Welcome baby Sterling

The boys got their first cousin this past Friday. Kristin and Zach(Ross' sister and brother-in-law) had their  baby 2 weeks early on Friday Sept 12th. It's  a boy. They named him Sterling,  he was 6lbs 8oz, and 18 1/2 in long.  Congratulations you guys!! He is so CUTE. I just love his lips. I'm so glad I was in town  to see him, Kristin and Zach when he was born.

Flight to Utah

It was easier to fly with Rhys when he was a newborn. On the flight to Utah I got lucky and sat in between to very nice people that helped me keep Rhys entertained. The thing that kept him the most entertained was the sick bag that the fight provides and a wrapper from the snack, he stayed busy putting the wrapper in and out of the bag for awhile. It was fun to watch him try to figure how to open and keep the bag open. He also liked putting the window shade up and down. After I took a picture he would squint his eyes because of the flash it was cute. It was a long 3 and half hours.
 He is so cute.

Christian's first game

His first game was at 8 a.m. so the field was wet from dew, which caused the players to slip a lot but it didn't seem to phase him. Christian is so cute out on the field. He's fast out on the field but he is one of the smallest ones on  the field. He played good. The other two boys played around with a soccer ball, while christian played his game.

10K

I did a 10k a couple of weekends ago, it was fun. In my female age group I finished 5th. My average mile was 9:16. Half way through the race I turn a corner and I see Ross and the Boys standing on the side lines, which I was not expecting. It was fun to see them and hear them cheer me on. Seeing them made me pick up my pace. I didn't train for this race so I feel that if I would have trained I could have done much better. I still feel good about the race and I had fun. My next race I will train for it so that I can do better.

Look whos walking now

Rhys now walks where ever he goes, he is walking good unless you put shoes on him and then he goes back to stumbling around.

Toothless Gavin

I went and picked the boys up from school today and when Gavin came out he had one less tooth then I sent him to school with.  He was so excited that he had lost another tooth. He has 4 teeth missing at the moment, I bet it is hard for him to eat many foods.

Pumpkin Patch

Last year we got pumpkins but did not carve them. I had left them on the porch so long that they got soft and the squirrels were able to get into them and get the seeds out.
This year I noticed a new plant growing in one of our flower gardens and later found out that it was a pumpkin plant.
So thanks to the squirrels we have pumpkins growing. The boys are having fun watching them grow. They check all the time to see how many we have and if there are any new ones. So far I have counted at least 10 but more have grown since I have last counted so I'm not sure how many we have.
I'll post updates on how our pumpkins are growing.

Bears Game

We got to go to the Bears and 49ers football game. We left our house at 5p.m. to get to the game which started at 7 we thought that we would be able to get there early but were we wrong, we got stuck in traffic and didn't get there till 7:30. Parking was awful so Ross dropped Gavin, Rhys, and I off and went and parked. By the time Ross and christian got into the game it was half over which was to bad. Right when Ross sat down Gavin wanted food so off he went to get food. So Ross was not able to watch much of the game. It was also way past Rhys' bed time so he slept most of the game. So my advice if you go to a game is know where your going to park or where you CAN park. The boys still had fun.
