Hockey Game

Ross' professor gave him some Chicago Blackhawk hockey tickets, so Ross took the boys to the game and by the end of the game Gavin was yelling at the players and giving high fives to ll the people around them when the Blackhawks scored. Since then we have had to watch all the games on t.v.

MY BOYS

I Love My Boys!
Boys are so much fun!

Football

Ross and I took the boys to the park and played a little football while the weather was still some what warm. We had fun.

So Cute!

Thanksgiving!

We had a very good Thanksgiving! We started a tradition of " a feast for the birds" which we go and find pine cones,  put peanut butter on them and then roll them in bird seeds, the boys had a lot of fun doing this. We went outside to hang them up and when we came back in that made Rhys real upset, he wanted to stay out and play.
We also went and saw the Movie Bolt it was cute. Well at least the parts I got to see since Rhys didn't want to stay in the theater.
We then had a web cam conversation with Nanna and all that was there at her house. We enjoyed talking and being able to see you all.
We ended the day by watching Polar Express, we had a GREAT day!

Jack The Bear

Today Christian has been carrying around his bear Jack. Jack has been doing everything Christian does, Christian even put his eye patch on Jack and had Jack do eye therapy, I had to read some letters off of the chart for Jack before Christian would do his therapy. Jack also had to be at the table to play with play dough.  At lunch time Christian went to our closet and dug out the booster seat so that Jack would be at the table to eat. While I was making Christian lunch Christian pretended to make Jack lunch. Christian even went and got Jack seconds. He is so Cute!

Halloween!!

Gavin was an Army dude, Christian was a Jedi, and Rhys was Superman.  The boys' school had a Halloween parade where they walked around the block in their costumes, it was cute.
When I was trying to get a picture of the boys in their costumes against the wall Rhys did not want to stay in his spot, by the time the camera finally took the picture Rhys was all the way up to the camera.
The boys were so excited to go trick-or-treating this year we tried to take Rhys but that didn't last long cause he did NOT want to be carried or when he was walking he did NOT want to hold our hand, he just wanted to walk by his self which most of the time was in the direction of the road. So Rhys and I only made it a block or so and then went home to hand out candy.

Yum! Halloween Cookies

The day before Halloween we went to our friends house(Andrew 5,Jeremy 4 ,Tyler 1,and Kristen mom) to make some fun Halloween cookies. The cookies were supposed to be bats and owls but when we cooked them they came out as just blobs but I don't think the kids minded at all just as long as they got to decorate and eat them. Rhys didn't decorate but he loved helping eat them. While we were decorating them Rhys went around saying "eat, eat" which is one of his favorite words. It is a lot of fun to have a house of boys live so close to us, just a couple blocks away, the boys enjoy it.

Movie night

Each night when I put the boys to bed Ross or I read them a chapter of a chapter book and after we finish the book if the book was made into a movie we will usually check it out.
We just finished Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so we went to the library and checked out Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It is always  fun to watch the boys compare the movie to the book and through  the whole movie they  say what is going to happen next or say "that isn't in the movie". They really enjoy doing this.

Pumpkin's

After school yesterday the boys and I went to a local farm stand and got a pumpkin to carve and Christian had a little one from a field trip that he went on. There were so many good ones it was hard to pick one but we found one that was just perfect.  The boys helped me take the insides out except Christian didn't want to get any on him so he ended up not helping with that step, they also helped carve the faces.  It was a lot of fun!

Eye therapy

Christian's left eye drifts out and doesn't like to look in the same direction as the other one at times, so I have to do eye exercises with him every day to try and strengthen it. We do it while Rhys is a sleep otherwise it is hard to get it done cause Rhys likes to take the things we have to work with, he  grabs them and takes off running and he thinks it is funny.

Playing in the leafs

At one of Christian's games Rhys went and played in the leafs. He never watched the game Ross or I  always had to chase him around. At least at this game he played in the leafs instead of eating the wood chips, well he probably did that also.
