I think it is funny that Ross is the only one looking in my direction.
The boys had so much fun having Nana here for a week. Ross and I were able to go out for a day (just the two of us) and had a great time. Thanks Nana! While she was here we went to the zoo, saw the movie UP, spent a day walking around Chicago and of course went and ate Chicago style pizza. We did a lot of playing and just hanging out. It was a great weak and we're glad that Nana came to visit us.
Getting his I.D bracelets which one was purple and he said "I wanted a orange one they must have used them all already".
Christian had to get eye surgery to fix his wandering eye. Last night he woke up a little scared of what was going to happen so he climbed in bed with me which Rhys was already in bed with me but not a sleep so the two of them were awake most of the night playing. He was so calm and easy during the whole surgery prep. He got a lot of stuff while he was there a bunch of stickers, a little fish game which he loved, a stuffed dog and a little sponge bob square pants that he picked out on our way out. When it was time for Ross and I to go back to the waiting room and Christian to go with the nurse to the operating room he looked at me and said bye, which at that point I told him he had to stop playing his fish game and give me a hug and a kiss at least. He never cried or acted scared he was so brave!! He also came out of being asleep real well he was just worried that he was going to feel sleepy all day. Which he was okay after we told him that as the day went on he would feel better. Now the hard part is keeping him down for 10 days so that his eyes wont be bummed. I had to go to the store today and he wore his sun glasses the whole time we were out of the house cause he thought that if kids saw his eyes they would make fun of him even though I told them they WOULD not. He is so cute and little in the pictures. I'm so proud of him for being so big during the whole thing!!
This is WAY late I know. The boys had a great Easter this year. When Ross and I got up the boys were already up and they thought that the Eater bunny had not came because they could not see Easter baskets we had to explain sometimes the Easter bunny hides them at that point off they went to find them. Later that day we went to our friends house the Larson's and had a great Easter meal that consisted of ham, eggs, fruit, and home made cinnamon rolls it was a great meal. After we ate we did an Easter egg hunt which the boys loved. We are so glad that we have such good friends that we were able to celebrate Easter with.
A few weeks ago we were at a park playing and Rhys was going down a zig-zag slide and his shoe got caught which made him go face first off of the slide. He cried for a few seconds while I dug the dirt and wood chips out of his mouth but then off he went right back to the same slide. He is tough!
