Lazy Sunday Morning

Got to love 11:00 church. The boys just had breakfast and then while I got things done in the kitchen they watched Alice in Wonderland. Gavin loves to help with Rhys it makes him feel so big!

Cereal

We gave Rhys his first cereal this morning. He did not like it at all, I would put it in his mouth and he just let it sit there he didn't get that you were supposed to swallow it so after a few bites we gave up and gave him his bottle. He was happy then!

Rhys

Rhys is getting so big and his hair wont stop growing, not to much longer and I will have to get it cut. People are already mistaking him as a girl. He is now 6 months old, he always has his hands in his mouth and if I don't keep his finger nails trimmed real well he scratches his face, I once counted 10 little scratches on his face it was sad. Gavin and Christian just love him to pieces I'm always having to tell them to back off of him because they get right in his face to play with him, they don't understand that he can't see them when their that close. He can almost rollover from his back to his stomach he's so close, he already rolls from his stomach to his back but not that often because he hates to be on his stomach. And he is soo.. chubby.

Snow

Gavin and Christian love to shovel the walk way when it snows. I usually have to set the timer for them to take turns or they are always coming in and saying that the other won't share.
I guess I could solve this problem by getting another shovel but I don't think of it until one of them comes into tell on his brother. When Gavin and Christian were building this snowman Gavin came in and said "We need another carrot for the nose cause Christian ate the other nose all gone." Which shocked me because I usually can't get him to eat carrots.

Christmas

Christmas was a lot of fun. The boys got just what they wanted from Santa and they were very excited. And Rhys had no clue really what was going on. All day we heard nothing but the light saber and Gavin saying "help me find ...." one of the parts from his transformer. Ross had surprised me with tickets to the Broadway play "Wicked" and reservations to a nice dinner. Which we went to the Saturday following Christmas, we rode the train in to town and just spent the day in Chicago. It was a blast. Thanks to Nancy and the girls for watching the boys.

Christians- Christmas Program

Christian had a small Christmas program for his preschool. He was so cute in it, he had to learn quite a few songs for it which he did very well. In one of the songs he would sing softly until the chorus then he was the only one you could hear. He also got to see Santa again and put his order in one more time to make sure that Santa was not going to bring him a barbie. I would have to say he is the cutest one in his preschool.

Christmas cookies

Just have to love the sprinkle smile.
So I am horrible at keeping up with the blog so here goes trying to catch up.

I love to make sugar cookies with the boys around the various holidays, the boys also love it because I admit I don't let them have to much sugar and when we make cookies I usually give in and they end up eating around three each. They also love putting the sprinkles on, which I think more sprinkles get on the table and floor then on the cookie. We had a lot of fun making these cookies and having their friend Bristol over.
